A Warning to Online Shoppers: My Order Was Lost and Customer Service Told Me 'No Worries' 😤
I'm writing this as a warning about my online shopping experience, hoping it saves someone else the trouble. This website is always a bit of a risk as far as experiences go. However, after almost three weeks of waiting for my sunglasses, I contacted their customer service to get a status update (the shipping label had been created, but the status never changed from label created) and the rep told me she couldn't provide an update. She used the statement "no worries" in our chat. She also said she could not contact the courier, as she "does not have a way to do that". That just seems to be a boldfaced lie (customer service number, anyone?). When you spend your hard earned money on an item and trust a business to provide that item to you in a timely fashion per their own policy, you should not be told not to worry if they can't even tell you where that item is at the moment. This place is a longshot at best. I suggest going elsewhere. You will sleep better at night. I felt I had to contact them for a simple update, which led to this frustrating exchange.
Customer: Hi, my order has been stuck on "label created" for almost three weeks. Can you please give me a status update on where it is?
CS Rep: I see your order here. I'm sorry, but I can't provide an update at this time. No worries, though.
Customer: What do you mean you can't provide an update? And 'no worries'? Of course I'm worried. Can you at least contact the courier to see what the delay is?
CS Rep: I understand your concern, but I do not have a way to do that. I cannot contact the courier from here.
Customer: That makes no sense. You can't contact your own shipping partner? You took my money but can't even tell me where my product is. This is unbelievable.
CS Rep: I apologize for the inconvenience. I can only advise you to keep checking the tracking information for updates.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
