Dishonest Promotions & A Customer Service Nightmare 😤
I’m writing this to warn everyone about my terrible online shopping experience. After everything I went through, my direct feeling and conclusion is this: Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. Will NOT return and I do NOT recommend them. This is the responses of what they offered. Return them ( even though their correct style and prescription. ) to RETURN AND REORDER to get the bogo they messed up and admitted. Simple solution? Credit back to my card used. Nah that's too easy. Attached is an upload of our conversation. Will it be printed? I doubt it. Which is not fair to other consumers. This all started because their website glitched and didn't apply a BOGO promotion, so I was forced to engage with their customer service for a resolution.
Customer: Hi, I placed an order during the BOGO promotion, but your website had a glitch and charged me for both pairs. I need the promotional discount applied. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the trouble with the website. I can see the error on our end. To fix this and get the BOGO price, you'll need to return the entire order, and then you can place a new one with the promotion correctly applied. Customer: That makes absolutely no sense. The glasses are the correct style and prescription. Why would I send them back? Just credit the difference back to my card. It’s a simple solution. CS Rep: I do understand your frustration, but our company policy requires a return and reorder to properly process promotional offers like BOGO. We unfortunately cannot issue a partial refund in this situation. Customer: This is unbelievable. You admit it's your mistake, but you expect me to do all the work and wait weeks for a new order? This is unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. You've lost a customer.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
