Customer Beware: My Glasses Broke in 17 Days, Trapped in an AI Chatbot Nightmare! 😠🔁
I'm sharing my story as a warning. I thought I'd found a great deal online, but my glasses broke right after the ridiculously short warranty expired, and getting any kind of help was an absolute nightmare. This experience left me with only one conclusion: "Not a good online eyeglass company, I should have read reviews before purchasing. There is no customer support, it's just an AI chatbot that you go in circles with that can only help you with placing an order or a return. You call the number provided which is supposedly a 'Customer Support Team' which is 100% automated with no way to speak with an actual human. The recording tells you they will send you a text… which just connects you back with the AI chatbot again. There's a 14 day warranty on the glasses, so they conveniently broke within 17 days. Literally lasted less than a month, such horrible quality." This frustrating loop is what forced me to finally track down an actual person to talk to.
Customer: I've been stuck in your AI chatbot loop for an hour! My glasses are less than three weeks old and they snapped. Your 14-day warranty is a complete joke.
CS Rep: I'm very sorry for the frustration with our support system and the issue with your glasses. I understand this is unacceptable. Could you please provide me with your order number?
Customer: It's [Order Number]. The website just tells me to "purchase another pair." Are you going to tell me the same thing after I finally get a hold of a human?
