GlassesUSA: My $246 Refund Nightmare - AVOID! 🚫💸
My online shopping experience with GlassesUSA has been absolutely terrible, and I feel compelled to share my story as a cautionary tale for anyone considering them. They still haven't sent my refund for an order I never even received. They have $246.00 of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on February 24th, and the tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. Every time I try to get a response for a refund, all they tell me is it's "in transit" from a useless bot. This company is atrocious! I simply wanted my glasses or my money back, but dealing with their non-existent customer service made me realize others need to know what they might face, leading me to engage them directly.
Customer: I am beyond frustrated. My order hasn't arrived, it's stuck in Atlanta, and you still have my $246! All I get are automated messages about it being "in transit." Where are my glasses or my money? CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. I sincerely apologize for the delay and the lack of clarity you've experienced. Could you please provide your order number so I can look into this for you immediately? Customer: It's #105081183. It's been stuck for weeks, and I've tried everything. I just want my refund for an order I never received. CS Rep: Thank you for that. I see here that the order status is indeed problematic. We have processed a refund for you. I apologize that this wasn't communicated clearly or processed faster. Customer: Processed? That's what you say. It took filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau just to get this far! Why do I still have to wait 7 to 10 business days for my money after all this? CS Rep: I understand your impatience and truly regret the inconvenience this entire situation has caused. The 7-10 business days is the standard bank processing time for refunds once they are initiated on our end. We're doing our best to expedite it.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
